SecuritEase International is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote-first fintech team in Australia. You will design and build scalable back-end services using Java/Spring Boot, work with Kafka, databases, and implement testing and observability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java with Spring ecosystem and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Work with Postgres, Cassandra, OpenSearch, and Pinot databases.
• Manage data workflows using Kafka and Apache Airflow.
• Implement automated testing with JUnit/Mockito, TestContainers, and BDD frameworks.
• Ensure observability through logging, tracing, and monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design secure, scalable solutions.
