Job summary

DEWC Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Software Engineering team and contribute to Defence capabilities through C4ISREW solutions. You will lead technical delivery and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to meet client needs.

You will work with Python, Java Spring Boot and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue or Svelte), design microservices, containerised apps with Docker, and participate in CI/CD and security improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, CS, or related discipline.
• Significant experience in a Senior Full Stack Software Engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java Spring Boot, Docker and modern JS frameworks (Angular/Vue/Svelte).
• Experience designing microservices and containerised apps with Docker.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and security principles.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical leadership across C4ISREW software solutions.
• Design, develop, and support scalable full-stack software.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on Defence projects.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with DevOps teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project delivery.
• Contribute to innovation programs and IRAD initiatives.
• Engage with clients to meet contractual obligations.
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
