Job summary

Trace, Australia\'s climate‑tech leader, is seeking a mid‑to‑senior full‑stack engineer to build the platform that helps Australian businesses achieve audit‑ready climate disclosures. You will own end‑to‑end features in the Compliance Hub and guide AI agent workflows.

You’ll work across a modern stack including .NET 9 on AWS Lambda, Angular, Postgres, and Terraform, shipping production features while exploring agentic tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production software.
• Full stack capabilities across frontend, backend and data.
• Experience with production debugging and ownership.
• Ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ship features across the stack in our Compliance Hub - from data ingestion and calculation through to client-facing workflows.
• Take a problem from a loose product conversation to something in production, without a detailed spec.
• Direct coding agents across your work: scope the context, decompose the problem, review hard, and stand behind the result.
• Build and improve internal tooling, prompts, harnesses and tests to speed the team.
• Help determine where AI agents belong in the product versus deterministic systems.
• Review teammates' work—human- and agent-written—and set quality standards.
• Collaborate with our consulting team to align with client requirements.
