Job summary

Shift is expanding its engineering team in Sydney and seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer who excels at both front-end and back-end development. You’ll split your focus evenly between creating intuitive user experiences in React/TypeScript and building robust back-end systems in C#/.NET, across the full stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production software with substantial experience in both front-end and back-end development (React and .NET).
• Advanced skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or similar frameworks), and front-end architecture.
• Strong, hands‑on experience with backend services using C# and .NET.
• Proficiency working with RESTful APIs and event‑driven architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Octopus.
• Passion for intuitive, accessible, and reliable applications across the stack.
• Excellent testing skills and a commitment to high-quality delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities within cross‑functional teams.
• A curious mindset, energized by solving complex challenges in a dynamic environment.
