Job summary

National Heavy Vehicle Regulator is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build and maintain scalable web solutions using Loopback (Node.js) and React, with a strong focus on performance and security.

You will implement microservices on Azure, develop RESTful APIs, manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and contribute to architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and API documentation across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience with backend frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js.
• Strong TS and React.js experience.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and data models.
• Familiarity with JSON Schema and API documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications.
• Implement and manage microservice architecture on Azure.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure secure data transactions.
• Manage and deploy applications on Azure and leverage DevOps pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
