ITCC is a software development and digital agency in Melbourne seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer who also coordinates projects across backend, frontend, and mobile apps. You will bridge the Head of Projects with onshore and offshore teams, delivering Laravel ports, React/Vue/HTML frontends, and iOS/Android apps.

You will lead technically and coordinate delivery, ensuring API support for mobile apps and timely progress updates to clients and leadership.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer in Melbourne who can wear two hats: a hands-on senior Laravel developer who unblocks the team when they're stuck, and a project coordinator who keeps backend, frontend, and mobile app projects moving, tracking tasks, chasing deadlines, and keeping the Head of Projects informed with clear, accurate progress updates.

You will be the bridge between the Head of Projects and our onshore and offshore development teams, working across Laravel portals, React/Vue/HTML frontends, and iOS/Android mobile apps.

Key responsibilities

Project Coordination (Approx. 50%)

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery of backend, frontend, and mobile app projects across onshore and offshore teams
• Track tasks, sprints, and deadlines; follow up with developers to ensure work is completed on time and to spec
• Identify blockers and delays early, expedite risks to the Head of Projects, and drive resolution
• Provide regular, structured progress updates to the Head of Projects
• Assist in sprint planning, task breakdown, estimation, and resource allocation
• Coordinate iOS and Android developers' work alongside web development streams
• Participate in client project meetings, provide technical updates, clarify requirements, and communicate confidently in English

Hands-on development & technical leadership (Approx. 50%)

• Act as senior Laravel developer and technical lead for the backend team
• Step in to solve technical problems when developers are stuck, debugging, architecture guidance, code direction
• Review code quality, enforce standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers
• Contribute directly to development on Laravel backends and React/Vue/HTML frontends when needed
• Ensure APIs and backends properly support connected iOS/Android mobile apps

Required skills & experience

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong depth in Laravel/PHP
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, MySQL, Git, and deployment workflows
• Working knowledge of mobile app development lifecycles (iOS/Android), enough to coordinate app developers and review API integration (hands-on mobile development not required)
• 2+ years of experience coordinating or leading development projects, task tracking, deadline management, team follow-ups
• Experience working with distributed/offshore teams
• Excellent spoken and written English, must be comfortable leading and contributing to client-facing meetings
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive follow-through without needing to be chased

Preferred / Advantage

• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Click Up, Asana, Trello or similar)
• Exposure to WordPress or Shopify projects
• Familiarity with CI/CD, server management (cPanel, AWS, or similar)
• Prior experience in a digital agency environment handling multiple concurrent client projects
