Job summary

Fortescue Metals Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Full Stack & AI Enablement) in Perth. You will design, develop and maintain enterprise software solutions to support Fortescue's operations, working with product managers, data engineers and other developers to deliver scalable applications.

You will drive the adoption of AI-assisted software development practices, integrate enterprise AI services, and mentor others while focusing on secure, scalable, and governance-aligned solutions

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
• Experience designing scalable web apps, APIs and cloud-native solutions.
• Proficiency with modern front-end and back-end technologies in enterprise settings.
• Experience with relational databases and software integrations.
• Proven mentoring and technical leadership in Agile teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery.
• Experience integrating enterprise AI services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern full-stack applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs and cloud-native services.
• Contribute to architecture, standards and technical governance.
• Lead code reviews, mentor developers and uphold quality and testing standards.
