Job summary

Haizea Analytics Pty seeks an experienced Senior Frontend Software Developer to own frontend development for a production geospatial platform with interactive mapping. You will work with React, Next.js and TypeScript, building mapping features, and also contribute to API endpoints, Azure infra, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role is senior, hands-on and on-site in Canberra, ACT. Candidates should have strong commercial frontend experience, map-heavy web app background, and be able to diagnose

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial frontend software development experience.
• Demonstrated production experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with mapping technologies and geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, projections).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Azure resources.
• Ability to work on-site in Canberra, ACT and have full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain frontend features using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Develop interactive mapping functionality including drawing, editing, layer management and spatial validation.
• Optimize geometry operations for polygons and large spatial datasets.
• Develop and maintain .NET/C# API endpoints as needed.
• Maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines; diagnose production issues.
