Job summary

Luxury Escapes, Sydney-based, seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer to advance our React/TypeScript frontend and enhance the customer journey across the platform.

You will collaborate with PMs and designers to rapidly iterate on features, run experiments, and optimize performance for millions of travellers. The role emphasizes AI-assisted tooling, code quality, and rapid delivery in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale React applications in production.
• Designing high-performance, responsive user interfaces and improving frontend reliability.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, including state management and scalable design.
• Experience writing automated tests and contributing to CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborating with product managers and designers to ship high-impact features.
• Familiarity integrating frontend with microservices and REST APIs.
• Comfort using AI-augmented development tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality frontend features in our React application to improve the customer journey and conversion.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to rapidly iterate on features and improvements for the booking experience.
• Design and implement A/B tests and product experiments to accelerate learning.
• Use AI-augmented development tools to improve code quality and speed.
• Continuously improve frontend performance, accessibility, and reliability across the web platform.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate frontend with microservices and third-party systems.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, including automated testing and continuous delivery.
• Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews and pairing.
