Job summary

Quantium in Sydney is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Design System Engineering team. You will evolve our shared component library, define scalable front-end standards, and partner with product and UX to deliver fast, accessible interfaces.

The role balances hands-on coding with guiding design-system practice, including AI-assisted development and governance. You will help shape the playbook for machine-generated interfaces while collaborating across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to a centralised design system, shared component library or UI framework.
• Strong React and component-based architecture experience.
• Ability to translate UX and engineering intent into production-ready interfaces and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evolve our design system, shared component library and front-end standards in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Define and uphold accessibility and brand-expression standards at scale across a growing product portfolio.
• Improve AI-generated interfaces by aligning design and engineering tokens with production code.
• Create clear component documentation and usage rules for engineers and coding agents.
• Stay hands-on—balance immediate product needs with long-term health of the system.
