Job summary

Quantium in Sydney is seeking aSenior Design Engineer to join the Design System Engineering team. You will help evolve our design system, automate interfaces, and enable AI-assisted production code across multiple product teams.

You will apply front-end engineering skills with React, establish accessibility and branding standards, and create clear documentation so engineers and agents can deliver consistent interfaces at scale. This is a hands-on senior role in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience contributing to a centralised design system or UI framework.
• Strong hands-on frontend engineering with React.
• Understanding of UX methods and accessibility.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the design system and component library with product teams.
• Define standards for accessibility and brand expression.
• Improve AI-generated interfaces and production readiness.
• Create component documentation and usage rules.
• Balance immediate needs with long-term system health.
