Qantas Airways Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Front-end) for our new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide. You will architect and deliver scalable frontend systems powering our digital experiences, ensuring fast, secure, and reliable services for evolving customer needs.

You’ll lead architecture, deliver quality code, and mentor others while maintaining a hands-on approach across cloud-native frontend stacks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role.
• Experience building high-traffic customer facing web applications.
• Experience with leveraging design systems and sharing reusable components across repositories.
• Knowledge and experience of cloud platforms such as AWS.

Responsibilities

• Guide architecture, delivery and development of software systems powering the business unit.
• Hands-on coding to deliver high-quality, well-designed software with focus on reliability and security.
