Job summary

Quartex is building AI-driven software delivery processes and a strong frontend/backend platform. You’ll own significant features end-to-end, steer frontend modernization, and contribute to engineering standards.

This is a senior role in a hybrid codebase, with no dedicated ops team and an emphasis on practical, reliable software delivery. You’ll work with a small, senior team in Adelaide, Australia.

Qualifications

• Proven production software delivery experience in a hybrid frontend/backend stack.
• Strong frontend production depth with Angular/TypeScript in a changing codebase.
• Experience shipping robust backend services with Java (or Kotlin/C#/Go) and relational data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end features across the stack with a focus on frontend modernization.
• Lead architecture decisions and set engineering standards for the frontend and backend.
• Support production, incidents, and live workloads in a no-ops team environment.
• Contribute to AI-enabled software delivery workflows and guardrails.
