Secondmind is seeking a skilled React frontend developer to join a cross-functional team, delivering production-ready web applications with sophisticated data visualisation.

You will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ship robust, secure interfaces while adhering to best practices in testing and code quality. The role emphasizes ownership, learning, and ongoing improvement of frontend systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with the React framework and proficiency in TypeScript.
• Familiar with version control systems like GitHub.
• Familiar with translating Figma based design prototypes, with openness to closer, more iterative collaboration with designers.
• Familiar with CSS-in-JS libraries such as Styled Components.
• Advocate and implementer of industry best practices in frontend engineering including automated testing, using frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

Responsibilities

• Deliver web applications that are secure, scalable, fault-tolerant and performant, and visually engaging.
• Transform complex datasets into compelling visual stories.
• Implement automated tests (unit and end-to-end) to ensure reliable code quality.
• Own features from concept through deployment and beyond, with a pragmatic mindset.
• Raise frontend standards through a pragmatic, principles-driven approach and collaboration with teammates.
• Deliver consistently and work with cross-functional partners to align product development with customer needs.
