Job summary

Qantas is seeking a mid-level Front-End Developer to join our new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide. You will deliver high-quality, scalable frontend software, sharing responsibility for code quality, performance, and security.

You will work with JavaScript/React, SSR, Micro Front Ends, HTML/CSS, and design systems, leveraging AWS and CI/CD practices. Expect collaboration, learning, and ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role.
• Experience building high-traffic customer facing web applications.
• Experience with front end technologies: JavaScript, React JS, SSR, Micro Front Ends, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with design systems and reusable components across repos.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Passion for UX, browser performance and accessibility.
