Job summary

Based in Sydney, you will lead partnerships with banks, transit operators and networks, guiding onboarding to long-term operations, while collaborating with global teams. You will manage preventative strategies, fraud detection enhancements, and regional incident response while driving performance metrics and cost-efficient risk controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Significant fraud prevention experience in card issuer or payment scheme.
• Proven partner-facing experience and relationship-building with external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; able to translate data into action.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the GCANZSEA fraud prevention program in line with global strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement in fraud detection systems, processes, and controls with partners.
• Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with risk and fraud teams at partner organisations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Data Science to implement fraud mitigation solutions.
• Analyze data and refine processes to improve case management efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as regional point of contact for fraud events, coordinating escalation with partners and internal teams.
• Lead regular business reviews and workshops with partners to drive alignment and insights.
