Job summary

Akubra Hats seeks an FP&A Analyst to work directly with the CFO and join the Senior Leadership Team, delivering month-end management reporting, monthly forecasting and the annual budget. You will partner with business units to translate data into actionable insights for strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years in FP&A, commercial analysis or management reporting.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, analytical and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
• Manufacturing experience — product costing, production variances and inventory.
• Experience across retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels.
• Supply chain or procurement analysis exposure an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver month-end management reporting.
• Lead monthly forecasting and Business Unit reporting, and drive the annual budget.
• Prepare monthly CFO reporting and Business Review packs.
• Analyse revenue, COGS, OPEX and profit performance, and flag risks and opportunities.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX, and partner with business stakeholders on both.
• Deliver supply chain value creation, procurement and product costing analysis.
• Drive process, systems and automation improvements across FP&A.
