Job summary
Acrow is seeking an experienced Formwork Team Leader to drive engineering design, drafting and certification of formwork projects across Queensland. This senior role targets a Chartered Structural Engineer with hands-on formwork experience, capable of leading a specialist team while contributing to complex engineering work.

Qualifications
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is required.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Significant hands-on experience designing and certifying formwork, falsework and shoring systems.
- Strong structural engineering and temporary works design capability.
- Professional experience using REVIT & AutoCAD.
- Experience with structural analysis/FEA software such as SpaceGass, Microstran, RSTAB or Strand7.
- Deep knowledge of Australian structural design standards and codes of practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and drafting delivery of formwork projects in Queensland.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to engineers, designers and drafters.
- Design, analyse, review and certify formwork, falsework and shoring systems.
- Undertake structural analysis and detailed Engineering calculations for conventional and bespoke formwork arrangements.
- Develop practical engineering solutions for complex site constraints and pours.
- Undertake and review FEA and frame analysis models.
- Review Revit models, formwork layouts, drawings and documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and safety-in-design requirements.
- Provide technical support to project, sales and site teams.
- Liaise with clients regarding engineering requirements and solutions.
- Resolve complex engineering and site issues.
- Review and approve engineering docs prior to issue.
- Support the technical development of the team.
