Job summary

DEECA is seeking a Senior Program Officer, Forest Contractor Program, to lead statewide delivery across Victoria. You will connect program planning with operations, ensuring contractor capacity supports key forest and bushfire initiatives, while collaborating with regional teams and executives.

Qualifications

Previous experience in program management, including budget and program reporting is required.
Experience across large and complex programs and strong stakeholder relationships are essential.
Ability to translate data and operational insights into practical solutions and to influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

Shape annual delivery programs and monitor performance across statewide initiatives.
Maximise contractor utilisation and government investment within the Joint Fuel Management Program and Operational Forest Management Program.
Provide strategic advice to executives and contribute to governance arrangements.
Develop innovative approaches to improve statewide program delivery and drive cross-team collaboration.
