DEECA is seeking a Forest and Fire Operations Officer (FFOO) – Technical Lead to support forest management, bushfire preparedness, and public land operations across Central Victoria. Lead crews, influence programs, and deliver meaningful environmental outcomes in a dynamic, field-driven role.

The role offers flexibility with hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to contribute to critical fire prevention and land management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge or experience in bushfire response or forest operations.
• Understanding of natural resource management with forest knowledge.
