Job summary

BG&E is building a Flooding and Hydrology team in WA. You will lead flood and hydrology projects, develop hydrologic and hydraulic models and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, resilient solutions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years' experience in civil/environmental engineering with WA exposure and strong modelling tool knowledge. Growth into Team Associate role is supported.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering with strong hydrology, modelling and flood risk management.
• 8+ years' experience ideal; 6+ years considered for senior level with relevant capability.
• Australian consulting experience essential, WA experience strongly preferred.
• Mining and/or major infrastructure project experience preferred, especially flood inputs for complex engineering projects.
• Strong skills in hydrological/hydraulic model development and clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead flood and hydrology projects or discipline packages across mining, infrastructure and development projects.
• Deliver hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments and practical flood management solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders to achieve strong project outcomes.
• Maintain technical quality through clear analysis, reporting and communication of modelling results.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
