Mott MacDonald is seeking a Flood Risk professional to join our Water Consultancy Division in the UK. You will deliver flood risk assessments, economic appraisals, and reservoir studies, contributing to high-profile schemes and Nature Based Solutions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, expanding your skills in project management and business development while supporting clients through scoping to delivery in a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering flood risk studies and option appraisals.
• Ability to prepare business cases and advisories.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and check economic appraisals for Flood Alleviation Schemes and flood risk assessments.
• Prepare business cases to secure funding for Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management schemes.
• Conceptualise hydraulic modelling approaches and quality-control client reports.
• Mentor junior staff and support wider team development and client engagement.
