Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Drainage and Flooding to join the New South Wales water design team. You will apply your drainage and flood risk expertise across planning, option studies, design and construction for private and public clients.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary national Water team, supporting business development and proposal preparation while delivering practical, compliant outcomes across land subdivisions, buildings, roads and utilities.

Formación

• Degree in civil engineering with relevant drainage and flood risk experience.
• Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and flood studies for development projects.
• Experience preparing technical reports, calculations, specifications and design documentation.
• Knowledge of Australian drainage and floodplain legislation and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and flood risk assessment for water infrastructure projects.
• Design stormwater drainage solutions for land development, buildings, roads and rail.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and design documentation for clients and authorities.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders and coordinate with project teams.
• Support project delivery from planning through to construction and handover.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and QA.
