Job summary

The BUSY Group on the Gold Coast is seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to lead modelling, budgeting and forecasting across the organisation. You will partner with operational leaders and executives to deliver insights that guide strategic decisions and performance management.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will own advanced financial modelling, scenario planning and tender analysis, while driving improvements in management reporting and data governance across finance

Qualifications

• 5+ years' FP&A, commercial finance or management accounting experience.
• Strong modelling, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Experience turning complex data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts and scenario planning across multiple business areas.
• Provide actionable insights on financial and operational performance to stakeholders.
• Support tender submissions through pricing, budgeting and commercial analysis.
• Drive improvements in reporting, forecasting and planning processes.

About the Role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in delivering financial planning, forecasting, modelling, tenderpreparationand performance analysis across the organisation.You'llwork closely with operational leaders, financeteamsand executive stakeholders toprovidemeaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

You are a curious,analyticaland commercially astute finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and influencing outcomes through data-driven insights.

To be successful, you will bring:

• 5+ years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance, managementaccountingor a similar analytical finance role.
• Strong financial modelling,budgetingand forecasting capabilities.
• Experience analysing complex financial and operational data and translating it into business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience working within large,complexor multi-entity organisations.
• Exposure to systems such as Workday Adaptive, NetSuiteor similar planning/ERP platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders confidently.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce,Economicsor a related discipline.
• CA,CPAor CIMA qualification (or currently working towards completion).
