Job summary

HDI Global in Sydney is seeking a Claims Adjuster – Delegated Authority to manage financial lines claims from initial assessment to resolution. You will liaise with claimants, brokers, underwriters and experts to deliver fair and timely outcomes, while upholding policy terms and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in an insurance claims role.
• Solid understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
• Clear written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or current study toward a qualification in business, insurance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial lines claims from notification through to resolution, assessing coverage, liability and damages.
• Review policy documents, submissions and evidence to determine validity and entitlement.
• Conduct investigations, gather information, interview parties and consult experts when required.
• Prepare clear correspondence including claim decisions, settlement offers and denial letters.
• Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting and Legal colleagues to achieve effective outcomes.
