Job summary

Firmus Technologies, Australia-based AI infrastructure leader, seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to drive the month-end close and deliver accurate financial reporting for the Group.

You will own balance sheet governance, journal processing, intercompany activity, and consolidation, partnering with finance and operations to strengthen controls and reporting efficiency in a fast-growing tech business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in financial accounting, month-end close, consolidation and financial control roles.
• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with strong accounting principles.
• Experience with multi-entity close, intercompany and consolidation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end month-end and year-end close process with accurate reporting.
• Oversee journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Manage group consolidation including intercompany eliminations and currency accounting.
• Maintain GL integrity with robust review processes and issue resolution.
• Drive process improvements to shorten close timelines while preserving control.
