Job summary

Moir Group is seeking a Senior Finance Manager/Financial Controller in Sydney to lead end-to-end financial accounting, month-end close, and consolidation activities. You will partner with the Finance Director to ensure robust controls and timely reporting.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification, strong IFRS knowledge, and extensive experience with multi-entity group reporting. The position offers senior leadership exposure and a clear path for professional impact.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial accounting, month-end close and management reporting.
• Proven experience with Group consolidation and multi-entity accounting.
• Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Experience with statutory reporting and external audit.
• ERP experience; NetSuite experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end financial close activities.
• Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, journals and adjustments.
• Manage Group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Prepare and review management and consolidated financial reporting.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements and external audits.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
• Strengthen financial controls and reporting practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and systems.
