Job summary

Deloitte Services Pty Ltd in Melbourne invites a Senior in Charge to lead a finance team onsite. You will mentor staff, drive efficiency in clients' finance functions, and deliver high-quality financial management and accounting guidance.

The role covers financial and management reporting, finance transformation, regulatory compliance, and accounting advice, with a 12–18 month assignment to support our Defence account amid growth.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, external audit, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CA/CPA near completion.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills; security clearance advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the finance team as Senior in Charge.
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of clients’ finance functions.
• Deliver financial and management reporting, and accounting advice.
• Support Defence account on a 12–18 month onsite basis.
