Deloitte Australia is seeking a senior-in-charge to lead complex external audits from planning to completion, coordinating workflows, reviewing work, and ensuring quality outcomes on time and in line with methodology and regulations.

You will work closely with clients and colleagues, coach junior staff, build trusted relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement across industries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years external audit experience (Big 4 preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting/commerce.
• CA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience leading engagements as a senior-in-charge.
• Strong capability across complex or higher-risk audit areas.
• Advanced understanding of audit methodology and regulatory standards.
• Proven ability to coach, support, and develop junior team members.
• Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and project management capability.
