Job summary

Gridsight is seeking a senior finance leader to own the integrity, reliability and scalability of the finance function. You will run the accounting engine end to end, build controls, manage external partners and enable rapid growth across entities and jurisdictions.

In this hands-on role you will close month/ year, maintain general ledger and provide clear financial visibility to the executive team and board while delivering compliant tax, audit and regulatory outcomes across multiple currencies.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience owning a full accounting function including close, reporting, audit, tax and operations.
• Experience in a high-growth technology business with multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
• Practical understanding of SaaS, enterprise software or contract-based revenue.
• Builder mindset with a focus on improving systems, controls and processes.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to explain financial issues to non-finance leaders.
• High-ownership, low-ego style; able to move between detail and broader business partnership.
• Big 4 or mid-tier audit, ERP implementation or fundraising experience is valuable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close, consolidations, reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain GL, balance sheet, and financial statements with audit trails.
• Develop policies for revenue recognition, capitalization and key judgments.
• Lead accounts payable/receivable, billing, payroll, cash and treasury management.
• Coordinate audits, tax advisers, banks and other external partners.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and board reporting.
