Job summary

Confidential, a profitable software company with a global footprint, seeks a Head of Finance to own the finance function and guide the business as it scales. You will report to the CEO and lead a small finance team across accounting, payroll and AP/AR, ensuring robust controls and proactive decision support.

You’ll bring qualified accounting credentials with Big 4 experience, strong technical foundations, and a commercial lens to advise on forecasting, cash, tax and systems as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with Big 4 training or equivalent.
• Strong track record in demanding finance environments.
• Commercial acumen with SaaS metrics and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small finance team across accounting, payroll and AP/AR.
• Own the integrity of the finance function including close, reporting and audit.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, tax and compliance across global operations.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis to support decisions.
• Oversee payroll and the financial side of people systems.
• Develop and report on key SaaS and business metrics.
• Ensure day-to-day finance processes are accurate and timely.
• Work with the CEO and leaders on financial questions and decisions.
