Job summary

Shield AI in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a Hivemind Field Solutions Engineer to support technical sales, customer engagements, demonstrations, and capture activities focused on simulation, synthetic environments, image generation systems, and AI-enabled mission systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into credible solution concepts, deliver technical briefs, and help maintain customer-facing materials reflecting current capabilities and roadmap

Qualifications

7+ years in modeling and simulation or related defense tech roles.
Hands-on experience with advanced defense simulation environments.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for Shield AI simulation, synthetic environment, and AI-enabled mission system capabilities.
Support customer discovery, technical briefings, demonstrations, RFIs/RFPs, proposals, and capture activities.
Translate customer mission needs, training objectives, test requirements, CONOPs, and integration considerations into credible solution concepts.
Explain image generation systems, synthetic environments, PAIBs, threat models, LVC architectures, and AI-enabled synthetic agents to diverse audiences.
Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and cross-functional teams to reflect customer requirements and field feedback.
