Job summary

FMG Engineering, an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy in Adelaide, is seeking a Senior Field/Soil Technician. You will conduct field-based soil testing to Australian standards, supervise the team, and mentor less experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and extensive knowledge of laboratory and field testing.
• In-depth understanding of AS3798, AS1289, AS1012, AS 1141, and AS1726.
• Certificate IV in laboratory techniques.
• Current construction induction white card.
• Current driver's license and ability to drive manual vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field-based soil testing in accordance with Australian standards and laboratory procedures.
• Provide technical advice, assistance, and leadership within the team.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
