Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer - Field Technical Delivery to provide hands-on IT field engineering across its Queensland assets in the Surat Basin. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of technology issues, supporting end-user computing, Microsoft 365, networking and AV/VC solutions.

Collaborating with site teams and vendors, you’ll maintain documentation, drive service improvements and assist with major incidents and testing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of end-user technology, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and networking fundamentals.
• Experience using an ITSM platform such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technology incidents and service requests, meeting agreed service levels.
• Coordinate hardware and software installations across site locations.
• Support laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, Microsoft 365, virtual desktops and AV/video-conferencing technology.
• Assist network and OT teams with site infrastructure and SCADA-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, identify service improvements and support technology projects and third‑party vendors.
• Participate in major-incident response, assess business impacts, restore services and coordinate testing with local users.
