Ideal candidates bring seven+ years of field experience with SAN/Fibre/Storage, Windows/Linux/VMware, and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years as a hardware field engineer in data solution support.
• Strong experience in HCP/UCP field support and storage arrays.
• Proficient with Windows, Linux and VMware in field workflows.
• Experience with Hitachi storage and networking gear is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales field support and on-site service delivery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine checks.
• Install, configure and upgrade Hitachi solutions.
• 24/7 on-call support as needed.
• Report opportunities or threats to the sales team.
• Comply with Hitachi policies and reporting requirements.
• Work with customers on-site rules and safety guidelines.
