Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist (Storage) to join our global support team in Sydney. You will provide expert Level 2 technical support for Hitachi storage products, working with customers and field teams to resolve complex issues.

You will own and escalate cases as needed, document resolutions for knowledge base, and participate in training to grow technical skills across the team. A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 2 or higher technical support for storage solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software configuration issues and product failures.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Level 2 specialist support to Hitachi Vantara customers and field service teams.
• Lead resolution of technical support issues including hardware/software configuration problems and product failures with escalations.
• Perform problem and customer situation management and escalate as needed.
• Communicate critical case status to customers and stakeholders within Hitachi.
• Own and manage support cases and escalations.
• Contribute to corporate standards and processes for delivery to support services.
• Document known resolutions and update knowledge articles with new information.
• Deliver training/workshops and develop technical skills of team members.
• Participate in team projects to enhance Hitachi’s customer success.
