Ford Australia is seeking a Feature Software Test Planner to lead test planning, resource strategy, and cross-functional execution for major vehicle programs. You will coordinate test plans, manage external providers, and drive engineering excellence across running changes, launches, and OTA updates.

This role lies at the Little River site with a four-day office pattern, requires 3–5+ years in automotive software testing, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering, software testing, or product development.

Responsabilités

• Develop, optimize and schedule feature test plans aligned with milestones.
• Allocate resources including vehicles, labs, tools and testers.
• Coordinate vehicle preparation and software/hardware baselines for validation.
• Track program status and report progress with recovery plans.
• Lead and mentor feature testers and manage external partners.
• Ensure DV/OTA testing and regression planning across changes and launches.
• Coordinate data acquisition and validation for issue resolution.
• Apply global testing standards and drive root-cause analysis.
