Job summary

Ford Australia seeks a Feature Software Test Planner to lead the development and coordination of test plans for major global vehicle programs. You will ensure robust software feature validation, manage external partners, and drive engineering excellence through running changes and OTA updates.

Based at the Little River site with a 4-day-from-home arrangement, you will report to the integration supervisor and collaborate across software validation, project management, and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive systems engineering, software testing, or product development.
• Experience with test planning and project planning in automotive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning and resource strategy for feature programs.
• Coordinate test plans with internal teams and external service providers.
• Oversee vehicle preparation and software/hardware baselines for testing.
• Track program status and report weekly progress.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and SPOC for the testing team.
• Mentor Feature Testers and manage external engineering partners.
• Perform regression testing and data validation for OTA updates.
• Ensure global testing standards and reporting formats are applied.
