Job summary

Ford Australia in Victoria is seeking a Feature Software Test Planner to ensure quality and timely delivery of software features across major vehicle programs, including OTA updates. You will lead test planning, allocate resources, coordinate with external partners, and drive engineering excellence across running changes and vehicle launches.

The role reports to the integration supervisor and is based at YYPG, Little River with a 4-day in-office arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize feature test plans aligned with vehicle program milestones.
• Coordinate resources: test vehicles, labs, tools, and testers.
• Oversee readiness of test vehicles with latest software/hardware baselines.
• Track program status weekly and implement recovery plans.
• Serve as SPOC in PAT forums for test planning.
• Lead feature testers and manage external engineering partners.
• Ensure safety and high-performing team culture.
• Plan DV regression testing for running changes, launches, OTA.
• Coordinate data acquisition and validation to troubleshoot issues.
