Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus or similar).
• Ability to work independently and deliver results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of metals and their damage mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct advanced FEA analyses for diverse clients and industries.
• Mentor other engineers in FEA methods and practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, metallurgists and clients to understand project requirements and develop project scopes.
• Write and deliver technical reports and presentations that clearly communicate analysis results and recommendations.
• Contribute to FEA process improvement, including creating tools and new methods.
