Job summary

Corrective Services NSW is seeking a Manager and Operations Lead based at Junee Correctional Centre, NSW. This senior role leads inmate work programs, facilities maintenance operations and business development to deliver high-quality, commercially viable outcomes.

You will oversee budgeting, procurement, contract management and multi-disciplinary teams, while promoting education and vocational training opportunities for inmates.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial, manufacturing and/or facilities maintenance operations.
• Ability to provide high-level technical and management advice.
• Experience managing operational budgets in a government or commercial setting.
• Experience leading staff across multiple disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management and commercial frameworks.
• Ability to operate in complex, high-risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, planning and technical direction for inmate work programs and CSI commercial or facilities maintenance operations.
• Provide high-level advice on technical, business, procurement and contract management matters.
• Develop and implement business development, marketing and facilities maintenance strategies aligned with CSI business plans and CSNSW direction.
• Manage staff performance, providing feedback and support to achieve organisational and professional development goals.
• Manage inmate employment, education and vocational training across multiple environments to achieve CSI outcomes.
• Build stakeholder relationships, identify local business opportunities and promote CSI capabilities to support business growth.
• Manage allocated budgets and resources effectively to meet operational objectives.
