Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Sydney is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to provide engineering support for facilities and infrastructure, develop maintenance procedures for electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure business continuity and uptime.

You will work in a corporate environment, manage PM schedules, monitor budgets, oversee safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to keep critical systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Ten years of related industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance of equipment as per OEM schedules.
• Maintain records for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Conduct life cycle analysis for all the M&E setup at the site.
• Address issues with air conditioning and temperature controls in office premises.
• Assist with project scheduling and monitor budgets and timelines.
• Recommend safety improvements and ensure compliance with codes, regulations and directives.
• Monitor fire alarm and general facility electrical systems.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Back up FM when on leave and liaise with stakeholders.
