Job summary

EY External Security Vetting Senior Analyst in Australia supports the delivery of complex Australian Government security clearance processes. You will assess cases across Baseline, NV1, NV2 and Positive Vetting, conduct quality assurance, and provide recommendations on clearance outcomes.

This role requires NV1 clearance and a Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Vetting), with strong stakeholder engagement and adherence to PSPF standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Australian Government personnel security vetting frameworks and processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to assess large volumes of information accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in complex or sensitive vetting matters.
• Proven quality assurance experience, ensuring compliance with PSPF requirements and organisational standards.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Assess complex clearance cases and provide recommendations on security clearance outcomes.
• Process Australian Government security clearances per PSPF and EY best practice.
• Conduct assessments across Baseline, NV1, NV2 and Positive Vetting levels.
• Manage complex vetting cases and sensitive information.
• Conduct security interviews and gather information from subjects and stakeholders.
• Apply QA controls to PSFs and vetting documentation.
