Job summary

AIA Australia seeks a Senior Experience Designer to partner with business and technology teams to deliver Enterprise Digital objectives and future-fit UX/UI design across digital products, channels, and services.

The role is a nine-month contingent contract based in Melbourne. You will simplify processes, remove complexity, and accelerate service delivery through automation and AI while guiding experience strategy at scale and maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in design, psychology, business, technology or IT
• Extensive UX, UI and user research experience in complex digital environments
• Ability to define and govern end-to-end journeys across channels and touchpoints
• Hands-on design across web, mobile and responsive platforms with strong usability and accessibility focus
• Experience integrating research, data and insights into direction and decisions using design systems
• Experience in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Experience with AI automation to uplift processes and outcomes

Responsibilities

• Set and lead experience strategy across complex journeys at scale
• Own quality, usability, accessibility and coherence of UX/UI outcomes
• Influence roadmaps and guide prioritisation with stakeholders
• Champion system thinking and accessibility; govern the Group Design System
• Drive evidence-based design practice and continuous improvement
