Job summary

Programa in Melbourne is seeking a Sr. Product Designer who can own end-to-end product experiences, balancing UI precision with practical coding collaboration, working with Product and Engineering from discovery to delivery.

You will lead large features, shape UX flows, and ensure design system consistency, using Claude Code to ship improvements and partner with AI tooling to accelerate workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of SaaS product design experience.
• Strong UI craft with attention to detail.
• Experience shipping in fast-paced teams with Eng and PMs.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design.
• Open to collaborating closely with code & AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of large product features from concept to UI ready for engineering.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers across the full product journey.
• Use Claude Code to ship quality life improvements and own small, impactful changes.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate design and delivery workflows while enforcing design system usage.
• Contribute to strategic product decisions and maintain visual consistency.
