Horner Recruitment Ltd in Balmain, Sydney is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead standout exhibition projects from concept to completion. You will manage 10–20 projects concurrently, coordinate builders, AV, graphics, and other suppliers, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This senior, hands-on role requires a proven exhibitions industry network, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and the ability to mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in exhibitions production or project management.
• Established network of exhibition suppliers, contractors, venues and organisers.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Strong estimating, quoting, budgeting and supplier-management skills.
• Knowledge of exhibition builds, large-format graphics, artwork specifications and AV.
• Confidence managing trades and suppliers onsite.
• Strong Microsoft Office and administration skills.
• Calm, organised and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes, budgets and production schedules for ~10–20 projects.
• Source and coordinate builders, AV, furniture, graphics, signage, rigging and other suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders, artwork specifications and production documentation.
• Keep projects on time, on budget and moving smoothly.
• Oversee interstate installations, trades and onsite delivery.
• Manage client handovers to a high standard.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve systems and processes.
• Support and mentor other team members as required.
