Job summary

WOW Recruitment is partnering with a leading live events and experiential agency in Sydney to find a Production Manager who thrives on technical precision and creative problem-solving.

You'll translate creative concepts into detailed drawings (Vectorworks/AutoCAD/Rhino), manage supplier relationships, and oversee on-site execution, keeping budgets and schedules on track.

Hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote, located in Central Sydney.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical design or production background in experiential, exhibitions, shopfitting, or retail design.
• Ability to produce technical drawings and detail builds with Vectorworks/AutoCAD/Rhino.
• Working knowledge of materials, finishes and fabrication methods.

Responsibilities

• Translate creative ideas into technical drawings using Vectorworks (AutoCAD or Rhino ok).
• Specify finishes and build techniques for bespoke installations.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee fabrication.

From pop-ups and product launches to immersive brand activations, this agency creates temporary environments that leave a lasting impact.

As Production Manager, you'll be the technical backbone of the production process, turning creative concepts into reality through detailed drawings, supplier coordination, and on-site execution.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

• Translate creative ideas into technical drawings using Vectorworks (AutoCAD or other software experience welcome too).
• Specify finishes and custom build techniques for bespoke installations.
• Manage supplier relationships and oversee fabrication.
• Maintain budgets and schedules while driving operational excellence.

What You'll Bring:

• A technical design or production background - experiential, exhibitions, shopfitting, retail design, interior architecture or architecture all considered.
• The ability to produce technical drawings and detail a build (Vectorworks preferred, AutoCAD, Rhino or similar all fine).
• A working knowledge of materials, finishes and fabrication methods.
• Comfort moving at pace - timelines here are measured in weeks, not months.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset. An established supplier network is a bonus rather than a requirement.

Experiential experience isn't essential. If you can detail a build and manage it through to install, they'll back you on the rest.
