Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Estimator / Senior Estimator to join our cost management team on large scale transport infrastructure projects in Sydney. You will lead the preparation of first principles estimates for heavy civil, road, rail, utilities and aviation works, and drive cost planning and commercial support.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency with Excel, experience with CostX or Expert Estimation, and strong communication to collaborate with design and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry with delivery of similar roles.
• Proficiency with Excel and digital takeoff tools.
• Knowledge of Australian infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

• Prepare first principles cost estimates and cost plans.
• Create bills of quantities and manage teams delivering BOQs.
• Assess variations, take-offs, and cost proposals.
• Lead technical reviews with designers and estimators.
• Participate in risk and value engineering workshops.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to address issues.
