Job summary

b-g is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a pivotal role in the development of a major transport infrastructure project (Civils & Bridges) in NSW.

You’ll take ownership of the estimating process, coordinating inputs from engineering, construction, commercial and operational stakeholders. The ability to build relationships, establish credibility quickly and keep contributors engaged will be critical to delivering a high quality estimate within demanding timeframes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience estimating major civil infrastructure projects in Australia.
• Exposure to Transport for NSW projects.
• Local government civil infrastructure estimating experience is a plus.
• Ability to influence senior project, engineering and commercial stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative approach to bring people together and drive outcomes.
• Meticulous eye for detail and ability to produce accurate, commercially sound estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed estimates for major civil infrastructure works.
• Coordinate pricing inputs across engineering, construction, procurement and commercial teams.
• Facilitate estimate reviews and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the estimating process.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, well substantiated and capable of standing up to rigorous review.
• Support the development of a competitive submission within a collaborative alliance environment.
