Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Estimator / Senior Estimator to lead first principles cost estimation for large-scale transport infrastructure, including heavy civil, road, rail, utilities and aviation projects. The role involves probabilistic risk assessments to provide P50/P90 contingencies and supporting cost planning and commercial services.

You will prepare estimates, cost plans, and bills of quantities, lead reviews with designers, and steer risk and value engineering workshops while coordinating

Qualifications

• First principles cost estimation experience would be advantageous.
• Experience delivering cost planning and estimating on large-scale transport infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare first principles cost estimates and cost plans for heavy civil, road, rail, utilities, and aviation projects.
• Prepare bills of quantities and manage teams to deliver BOQs.
• Assess variations, take-offs, and cost proposals.
• Lead technical reviews with designers for estimates.
• Lead and participate in risk and value engineering workshops.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to address issues.
